Curb Cravings

Posted Friday, August 20th, 2010

You can curb cravings by drinking green tea in the mornings, or whenever you begin to crave a certain food type.

If you work in an office for example, you are more likely to crave for food because you are sitting down for the best part of the day, and so are more likely to seek out comfort foods whilst you work. This of course means you will be more likely to have junk food, and more likely to put on weight.

By drinking green tea in the morning, you not only quench your cravings, you also prevent yourself from having junk food.

Green tea, as one of its many benefits, helps your body get rid of saturated fats, which is the type of fat you gain when you eat junk food, so as well as curbing your cravings; you’ll also be doing your body some good.

It is important however, to not be tempted to have any sweetener (and certainly not milk) with your green tea. Drink it as it is for best results. The taste is quite bitter, but honestly, after a few days of drinking it, you get used to the taste, and actually grow to like it once you realise the benefits of the tea.
