Many people do not realise the value of water. They realise that they pay for it, but are not away that having water running from a tap is a luxury. Well, if you need to be conscious of how much water you use as it can affect your wallets in a major way.
Some of the ways you can save money by avoiding wasting water is to fix any drips you may have! A dripping tap can waste up to 4 litres of water a day. Replace worn washers or fit a more efficient tap. Spray more! Spray head taps can reduce consumption by up to 70%. Recycle! Wash fruit and veg in a bowl rather than under the tap; then use the water for watering plants! Sprinkle less! Sprinklers use the same amount of water in an hour as a family of four uses in a day! Install a trickle system instead which works from a water butt.
Cash rich Vodafone has been tipped as a possible buyer of high street chain Phones4U and TalkTalk as it mulls how to spend its money made from selling its minority stakes in phone operators abroad.
The Daily Telegraph reported that Vodafone is one of a handful of companies eager to gets its hands on Phones4U which has around 473 shops in the UK, according to anonymous sources at the chain’s private equity owner, Providence Equity.
However, Vodafone may have to fight off competition from the likes of Dixons’ parent company DSG and Game Group if it is serious in its intentions. None of the potential buyers have confirmed their interest.
Phones4U is expected to make about £125m (before tax) on sales of about £800m this year, according to the newspaper. It was snapped up by its current owner, Providence in 2006, making its founder, John Caudwell a billionaire.
However, analysts at Liberum Capital are said to believe that Vodafone should plump for TalkTalk so it can offer its customers bundles of services like pay TV, broadband, home and mobile phones in future. TalkTalk is estimated to have a market value of around £1.25bn

How do you get the freshest tasting fruits, vegetables, meats and poultry? Shorten the time it takes for the food to get from the farm to your plate. To do this, you could plant your own garden or visit your local farmers market, but as summer draws to a close these options are becoming less and less viable.
But that doesn’t mean you have to stop supporting your local growers or sacrifice on taste. Find a grocery store that is committed to helping you buy local. Food grown in your own community was probably picked within the past day or two. It’s crisp, sweet and loaded with flavour.
Increasing awareness and concern with global climate change has led to a push to identify local food consumption as a way to reduce food miles and help preserve the environment. The journey from farm to fork is rarely a simple connection between farmer and consumer but involves a range of different actors and agents, located in different places and at different socioeconomic scales.
By supporting local farmers today, you can help ensure that there will be farms in your community tomorrow, and that future generations will have access to nourishing, flavourful, and abundant food.

If your credit is not great, then you know you have a great struggle to get any type of financing. This includes financing for a car with bad credit and that’s where you are now.
If you are in urgent need, you have the option with bad credit bank auto loan which does require some legwork from you now. Try to be honest with a potential trusted lender and let them know all the existing financial commitments that you already bear. This will allow them to work out suitable loan terms within your budget. Therefore, the odds are significantly piled towards lender that provides bad credit car loan financing since that is perhaps the only way you can obtain financing for your used car purchase with no money down.
You’ve got to do your homework! Research what the rates of interest typically are for someone with your credit score. Don’t rely on a car dealer to be honest. They are out to make money, and someone with poor credit provides an excellent opportunity. Having some information on hand will help you greatly when you negotiate.
It is recommended that you explore the options that you have on the internet. It is no doubt one of the greatest resources available to all generations, and there’s plenty of ways to get approved for a respectable, working bad credit car loan online even with a not so great credit score.
Supermarket chain Morrisons is finally to experiment with convenience stores and internet shopping, as new chief executive Dalton Philips looks for new sources of growth.
Mr Philips recently outlined his strategy for the group six months after taking over from Marc Bolland, who now runs retailer Marks & Spencer.
Morrison said that like-for-like sales, excluding VAT and fuel, were up 0.9% in the half year to August 1, a sharp slowing from the 7.8% posted the previous year. But underlying profit before tax soared 14% to £410 million on turnover of £8.1bn, up 9.1% from last year.
As more and more retailers provide an online service, it becomes ever increasingly apparent that shopping online is currently the best convenient way of shopping.
